I say, there’s a better way –– and I’ve hung up my Stylist to the Stars badge to fix this, once and for all!

*CUE THE STYLE ANGELS SINGING*

I’m Trish, former stylist to the stars, rain-lovin’ California girl, unapologetic introvert and gluten-free chocolate chip cookie aficionado...

It should come as *no* shocker that I grew up super-duper obsessed with clothes –– I dreamed of going to fashion school (check!), styling celebrities (check!) and buying all the pointy-toed shoes I could fit into my closet…

But as glam as all that sounds, it took me *forever* to realize that... 

My confidence had been at an all-time zero throughout most of my life.

For the longest time, I wasn’t showing up with my truest, Trish-est personality.

I mean, I’d lie awake thinking about how…

• I felt fat - (uh – I was 60 lbs lighter than I am now), hustle became my priority over my health and wanted to use style to mask that… 
• I was *so* uncomfortable with any kind of attention (I’m an introvert to the core!), but I knew I had to step up if I wanted to scale... 
• Who cared about what I had to say… 
• I was terrified of posting on social media or using video (wouldn’t everyone judge me for it??)I was a total impostor and was destined to fail (cue the night sweats)...

So I said goodbye to my celebrity client list, stopped hiding in my clothes, started buying only what *felt* good on my body (right now) and fun to wear.

I aligned my signature style and started putting it out into the world… 

And guess what happened?

I started attracting my ideal clients

(soul-aligned entrepreneurs who wanted more confidence)... Nice to meet ‘cha friend!

I kicked my negative self-talk out the door

and only let in the California sunshine (buh-bye, self-sabotage!)

I pulled up my seat at the table

and finally started to feel worthy of the visibility I deserved…

All because I recognized that in order to truly help the people I wanted, I needed to be rooted in a body that I loved and dressed with joy.

And now I’m a confident, passionate, visible entrepreneur (I’m rocking Instagram stories daily –– Trish two years ago would be so proud) –– I’m doing it all and loving what I see in the mirror, all at a size 12! 

So, while my days of choosing bling for Ariana Grande’s outfit at the VMA’s are behind me…
